In the first generation of Fiori apps, SAP developed separate apps for processing workflow-based approval tasks. Separate apps were delivered to handle approval tasks around purchase orders, ATBs, leave requests, declarations etc. SAP's new vision recommends that one app be used in the future to handle workflow tasks: the Fiori My Inbox app.
HEINEKEN WINS OPENTEXT ELITE AWARD 2016
Heineken has received an award from OpenText in the category "Most innovative project in the Food and Beverage sector". With this, international recognition is given to the projects Heineken has carried out worldwide, using the Vendor Invoice Management software for SAP solutions.
A team of consultants from Avelon (Open Text and SAP partner) has helped Heineken to set up a global solution with country-specific extensions and roll it out to the various country organizations around the world. Avelon was part of this successful team during the entire process.

An important component of SAP Invoice Management (SIM) is the recognition and extraction of relevant fields from an invoice via OCR. In line with this functionality OpenText, the developer of SIM, has launched Business Center for SAP solutions. With OpentText Business Center incoming business documents can be automatically structured, recognized and processed in SAP. Think for example of incoming bills of lading and sales orders. After recognizing the relevant fields the document can be automatically processed in SAP.
