Privacy statement

Avelon strives to process and manage personal data in such a way that your privacy is safeguarded. We would like to explain how we do this in this privacy statement. In all cases, Avelon complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Responsible for personal data

We store personal information we receive from you. From a legal point of view, this makes us responsible for your personal data. Avelon takes this responsibility seriously.

Security and access

We handle your data confidentially and with care. We also ensure that your personal details are properly secured. To this end, we have taken physical, technical and organizational measures. These include, for example, a secure server that can only be accessed by authorised persons, the secure transmission of online forms and a special privacy officer; the Data Protection Officer.

Storage period

Avelon does not retain your data longer than necessary for the purposes for which we use them. Some data are subject to legal retention periods that Avelon must meet before deletion can take place. Further information on retention periods can be found in the additional Privacy Statement.

Inspection and removal
You can at any time gain insight into your personal details that are processed by Avelon or request us to remove them. Not in all cases we can carry out your request for removal; sometimes legal restrictions apply. If you no longer wish to be contacted by us for marketing purposes, we must register your name in order to exclude you from future campaigns. If we do not comply with your request, we will of course inform you of the reason.
