The OpenText Elite Awards are presented annually during the OpenText user conference Enterprise World. OpenText customers from all over the world are recognized for their efforts in innovative and successful Enterprise Information Management (EIM) implementations.
Heineken received an award in the category "Most innovative project in the Food and Beverages sector". This gives international recognition to the projects Heineken has carried out worldwide using the Vendor Invoice Management software for SAP solutions, also known as SAP Invoice Management.
A team of consultants from Avelon helped Heineken set up a global solution with country-specific extensions and roll it out to various country organisations around the world. Avelon was part of this successful team throughout the entire process.
The goal of the project was to improve the procure-to-pay process and to set high standards in the organization where employees spend less time on manual actions.
