Eliminate manual actions without added value

Let employees do what they do best and take away simple, boring and repetitive tasks. Let recurring work be taken over by software robots.

Software robots

Employees frequently perform the same manual tasks within a certain process. This can take place within one system, but also across systems. These repetitive tasks often add little value to the organisation and make the work for the employee boring and monotonous. Software robots can take over these tasks from your employees.

Not only does this make the process more efficient and less prone to error, it also gives your employees the space to focus on the more valuable tasks and challenges you face.

Chatbots

Chatbots are a special variant of the robot in which conversation takes place in spoken language between a person and the chatbot. Chatbots can answer a question or even perform an action for the person concerned. Chatbots are used to relieve the helpdesk, for example, with the simpler questions being dealt with by the chatbot. A chatbot can also contain an FAQ, which will give the employee direct answers to the most frequently asked questions. A chatbot can also be used, for example, to submit a leave request or to record an ATB/purchase order .

Chatbots are not only used internally, they are also of added value for external stakeholders. For example, a supplier can use a chatbot to request the status of an invoice or purchase order and a customer or consumer can be helped with an information request or quotation.

Like robots, chatbots allow your employees to focus on more valuable things. Not only that, chatbots increase the service level to your internal and external stakeholders because they are available to help 24/7.

SAP iRPA & Conversational AI

SAP has solutions available within its Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) for creating software robots (SAP Intelligent Robotic Process Automation, abbreviated as iRPA) and chatbots (SAP Conversational AI, abbreviated as SAP CAI).

SAP BTP is a Cloud platform that is separate from the ECC or S/4HANA environment. It is therefore possible to create robots and chatbots that use multiple systems, both SAP and non-SAP. For iRPA there is also a bot store available where a large number of pre-built SAP ECC or S/4HANA bots are available. This gives you an immediate jumpstart in the realisation of your use cases.
