Technical SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) Consultant

As a Technical SAP MDG Consultant at Avelon, you will work on designing, implementing, and optimizing master data governance solutions within complex SAP landscapes. You will help organizations gain control over their data, thereby laying the foundation for reliable processes, reporting, and digital growth.

You will be involved in the implementation and optimization of SAP MDG, often in conjunction with S/4HANA. You will set up data models, configure workflows and business rules (such as BRF+), and implement integrations with other systems. In addition, you will actively work to improve data quality through validations, duplicate checks, and governance processes.

You’ll collaborate with business stakeholders, translate requirements into technical solutions, and work together in multidisciplinary teams to deliver sustainable and scalable results.

What will you be doing?

  • Designing and implementing SAP MDG solutions

  • Designing data models and governance processes

  • Configuring workflows and business rules

  • Extending standard MDG functionality

  • Implementing integrations (IDocs, web services)

  • Improving data quality and data consistency

  • Translating business requirements into technical solutions

What should you bring?

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree

  • Gain experience with SAP

  • Knowledge and experience in logistics and financial processes within SAP

  • Experience with workflows and integration techniques

  • Analytical skills and problem-solving abilities

  • Strong communication skills in at least Dutch and English

  • Experience in consulting or customer-facing roles

What is an advantage?
