Workflow solution for a streamlined procurement contract management process
Avelon's Contract Workflow provides a digitized, standardized and streamlined process for entering and approving procurement contracts in SAP. This ensures correct recording and ensures that the right people are involved in this process. All steps are logged so that afterwards it is clear who did what and when (audit trail).
Different roles can be made part of the contract workflow, including, for example, procurement, the contract manager and the contract administrator. Each role performs its activities through the Avelon Fiori Contract app so that each person involved has the same information and handling of the task is simple and accessible.
To achieve good contract management it is essential to monitor the agreements made and to act in line with internal and external procurement rules. This is facilitated within the Avelon Contract Workflow by timely notifications (alerts) to the right persons to perform a follow-up action. Examples include terminating or renewing a contract or starting a new RFP or tender. The workflow also has a standard alert that is sent out as soon as the procurement contract has been utilized by a certain percentage.
To properly monitor the contract management process, use is made of the standard available status report. This provides insight into where each task has been for how long and what the total processing time is. This applies to the approval of an entered contract as well as the handling of open alerts.
